COMFORT HEART INITIATIVE

Carol Ann Cole's Comfort Heart Initiative has put Comfort Hearts in the hands of over 170,000 people. And, OceanArt Pewter has made every one of those Comfort Hearts!

OceanArt Pewter is proud to be the "home" of the Comfort Heart and equally proud to be partnered with Carol Ann Cole. We were looking for a way to give back to the cancer community when Carol Ann approached us to discuss our very popular Worry Heart.  She asked us to change the name to Comfort Heart, make as many as she needed, change the design of the heart and sell it exclusively through her to raise funds for cancer research.  We had no idea how successful her idea would be, but after meeting Carol Ann we knew if any one could do it - she could!

Over one million dollars has been raised through the sale of Comfort Hearts and we are constantly humbled by the stories people tell us when then come to our stores to purchase another - and another - Comfort Heart.  Carol Ann tells us the Comfort Heart Initiative  will go on forever and she is convinced many more millions of dollars will be raised for cancer research through the sale of this tiny pewter heart. OceanArt Pewter will continue to make Comfort Hearts for as long as she asks us to do so!
